Mountain Ash Tree 40cm plus sapling (Sorbus Aucuparia)
Very delicate tall tree with amazing cream blossom and red berries for a Tropical or Cottage look.
Sorbus can be deciduous trees or shrubs with simple or pinnate leaves and clusters of small white or pink flowers, followed by white, yellow, pink, red or brown berries; some have fine autumn colour. The saplings we sell will become trees eventually and are one of our favourites at the nursery for their colour changes and red berries.
It is an upright deciduous tree with pinnate leaves turning yellow in autumn, and flat clusters of white flowers in late spring, followed by orange-red berries in early autumn.
The current height of these trees is approximately 40/50cm and they can be planted out all year round.
Plant in wet, dry, open and upland locations.
